The play area is securely fenced and includes equipment such as swings for all abilities, a slide, roundabout, seesaw and a tyre swing for the more adventurous.
It is anticipated that Sedgemoor District Council will refurbish the play area within the next two years (07/08), therefore adding new up to date play equipment and increasing the play value of the area.

The main attraction of the park is the Half pipe with attached Hip ramp, although the recently installed ramps from Fearless are also proving popular.

A grey Heron and the odd Cormorant are occasionally seen giving a demonstration of their talent for catching fish and the most frequently seen diving duck is the Pochard followed by the Tufted duck. Coots are usually seen by rushes, as are moorhens (red face) but these are not so common.
